After their highly acclaimed demo THE COSMIC LEASH that already showcased the band’s intensive energy and furious guitar playing, DRILL SERGEANT are back with their awaited full-length debut VILE EBB and crank up that electrifying intensity even more.
The power and massive impact reminding a lot of the vibe of actual recordings from the 80s was already evident on the demo and is now taken to another level on their full-length. DRILL SERGEANT manage to especially deliver even bolder ferocity on this release, making use of the strong production in order to take clear cuts between fast and aggressive grinding Powerviolence sequences and mid-tempo Hardcore and Punk blasts. While violently sticking the genres of Hardcore and Powerviolence together with immense power and a straightforward Punk atmosphere, DRILL SERGEANT deliver a release that is going to wreck entire stages once live shows are going to happen again.
