Lifetaker – Pit Viper Tape

A lot of uproar has been caused by LIFETAKER’s previous release „Night Intruder“ combining stomping mid-tempo Death Metal with raving Grindcore outbursts, eventually coining a fiercely aggressive characteristic sound that is a mere bolt of fury.

Now – only a few months later, LIFETAKER return with this EP. Again, this band shows that they know how to find their way reconstructing heaviness in as many different spheres as possible. This time, the immmensely blasting mid-tempo sound finds more space than before and is combined with drums in the manner of Powerviolence with a strong nod towards Punk and even messed up with disturbing industrial elements. LIFETAKER are again able to present that nothing feels more natural to this band than knocking off songwriting in their personal vein
